Cognate Health is a leading provider of Occupational Health Services in Ireland. We have exciting opportunities for experienced and dynamic Occupational Health Physicians to join our expanding Cognate Health Team in our Dublin Clinic.

Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the provision of a proactive, evidence-based, safe, and effective
occupational health service that adds value to our clients. - Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and the Cognate Health management team to promote health and productivity.
- Participate in identifying and championing best practices within the field of occupational health.
- Contribute to the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of work-related illnesses and injuries, as well as the conduct of mandatory and statutory medical examinations.
- Provide consultation services at the request of management or employees for work-related health problems.
- Work closely with the Clinical Medical Director to ensure the company operates within an approved and validated clinical and management framework, adopting best practices.
- Assist in assessing the work environment to identify potential hazards that may cause injury or illness to workers.
- Contribute to the development of rehabilitation and redeployment strategies for staff.
- Provide clinical care and counseling with an emphasis on risk factors, health assessment, and disease prevention.
Education and Requirements:
- Inclusion on the Specialist Register in Occupational Medicine compiled by the Irish Medical Council (or eligible or working towards this).
- Demonstrated interest and experience in occupational health practice.
- Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to apply it to a wide spectrum of
occupational health practice. - Familiarity with current employment law and health and safety legislation.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office or similar business software.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the field of occupational health
